How We Ship Your Order

An online store is incomplete till the finished product is delivered to your doorstep. The transportation is a critical part of the process and we understand the significance of timely and safe delivery of your products. This is how we do it at Mudraka.

Most of the products available on Mudraka are bulky items when compared to the usual mail that couriers handle. They weigh upto a few kilograms at least and are as much as a meter in size even after being compacted to their packing size. 

Due to this reason, we incur higher shipping costs than usual packages. However, we provide you this service for free.

A limitation of shipping such bulky and heavy products, however, is that they cannot be sent on faster modes of transport such as aircrafts due to the unreasonable cost which might sometimes exceed the cost of the product itself. This automatically excludes priority shipping modes which all utilise air travel.

The form of transport we use is called 'Surface Shipping' which most commonly utilises road and rail transport. This is the most economical and safe way of shipping our products, albeit, time consuming. All our items are shipped from the NCR region in India, and the farther your pincode from us, the longer would be the product's travel time. 

You are advised to plan ahead and factor in the travel time while placing orders. 

In case of extremely urgent requirement, we do offer all modes of shipping, however, the additional cost needs to be borne by the user. For such a requirement, you may mention this on the 'Order Notes' section while placing the order or mail us on contact@mudraka.com after placing the order. 

Our contracted carriers are some of the best in terms of service in India. These include FedEx, Gati, Bluedart, Delhivery, etc. The choice of carrier depends on the pincode being serviced and the type of product we are shipping and is not upto the user to decide. 

The consignments can all be tracked online based on the tracking ID we share with you post dispatch in a separate email.

In case of any problems you may contact the carrier directly or mail us with the issue and we can escalate the same to the carrier. 

In case of any package being badly damaged, the consignment should be rejected with the same mentioned as a note on the delivery slip. 

In case of lost or damaged items, we provide replacement/refund based on the type of product and scope of damage. 

These items are packed and dispatched with care and travel a long distance to reach you. Kindly take care to provide correct address and contact information while placing the order and to be available for accepting delivery.
